About Fabio
I am a recent graduate from the mechanical engineering program of Ontario Tech University and have experience tutoring high school seniors and university students in the areas of math, chemistry and physics. As someone who has been in school not too long ago, I understand how difficult school can be especially with the shift to online learning. I am a tutor who prides myself on my empathy for my students and I believe it is a core part of teaching. School is difficult and no matter what your situation I believe there is always a way to help you improve.

My classes are focused on helping those in high school, with homework help, studying for tests and exams and helping them garner an overall better understanding of the subject I am teaching. I usually begin with testing my student's level of understanding in the course, from there we focus on the things they are currently struggling with and give them a more solid foundation of the basics. Ensuring a student passes a course is only one part of my job but giving them the help they need to be successful without my help is the real purpose of tutoring.

I wasn't doing so great in my grade 11 algebra course and was in the 60s average before I got Fabio to tutor me. He was super patient and explained concepts to me in a way I could understand and appreciate even though I wasn't the biggest fan ofnmath. He guided me through actually understanding my work and I felt really accomplished after because instead of just doing the work for me like other tutors I've had in the past he brought me to a level where I felt confident in my abilities. I'm happy to recommend anyone in school to Fabio as I probably wouldn't have even graduated without his help.
