About Nathan
I am a recent mechanical engineering graduate with honors from Michigan State University, and have two years of experience tutoring basic college mathematics up through differential equations calculus. I teach both one-on-one and group-based learning sessions to help students improve their math skills and exam taking confidence.

I coach students in high school striving to perform well on an AP math or physics exam, and anyone in college needing help with their first two years of math and physics (classical only) courses. I believe that the willingness of the student to take on an active role while learning (including asking questions / participating in lessons), and to provide a valid effort on practice exercises, is key to their improvement in these subject areas. I will enthusiastically act as a guide toward your easier learning of math and physics, but I will not simply help you to finish homework.

My rates vary by student level:
- Precalculus, Calculus I, Physics I & II -- $12
- Calculus II, III, or IV -- $14
- Advanced engineering math or dynamics -- $18
My cancelation policy is as follows:
- Cancelations may occur up to 24 hours prior to a session without charge
- Cancelations within 24 hours of a session are charged as half of the session price
- After 3 cancelations without at least 24 hours notice, future sessions will not be scheduled
