About Dihia
- My field is heavily oriented toward mathematics and physics (i.e., Anything I would teach is easier than what I do, but I can vulgarize and I love explaining!)
- I have been a grader for Thermodynamics twice and I have helped the students understand their mistakes.
- Last semester I taught on a weekly basis to 4 kids of different age. This experience has taught me a lot on how to adapt my teaching.

- The first session (30min) is about getting to know their weaknesses first so we can build from them.
- I teach theory first and then we go over problems. You can send me pictures of the problems they received in class because each professor is different.
- I like keeping the student alert by involving him/her in solving the problems. I make it my mission to show them they are capable because building confidence is key to success.
I am very patient. I understand that not everyone learns at the same pace, but as long as they try I will be there. I am also very enthusiastic when it comes to learning and I hope to transmit this mentality to them.

Excellent! My daughter didn’t understand her method of explaining but overall she was pleasant
- She didn’t understand some of the fundamentals that are taught in elementary school. I would know, because I taught them a week before to a Grade 2 and 3 student who actually understood. The way to teach someone changes depending on his/her level. If I had known that she didn't understand fractions altogether we would have started with basics as I did with those little kids. I would advise the next tutor to do an evaluation of her actual knowledge of mathematics (fractions, divisions, etc..). She needs someone to strengthen the foundations she lacks before moving on to her homework questions.Dihia's response :
