About Juan
I am a mechanical engineering student at ETS.
I've always liked the order and logic of mathematics. As well as the physics which are goverened by said attributes.
I strive to endue said interest for equations and numbers in my teaching.
I have 6 years of experience working with kids and teens as a camp counselour and as a guitar tutor, so I like to think I am flexible and interesting in my manner of teaching.

As a tutor, I like to take a very personalized approach
With your goals always in mind, I will gauge a student's abilities, strenghts, weaknesses to develop a method of teaching that is both fulfilling, efficient and unique to each and every student.
After a first assessment has been done to clarify what a student wants to take away from the tutoring experience, I build a roadmap alongside them to ensure we are hitting every high point needed to reach the finish line.
Every lesson from there on will have us consult and adjust as necessary said roadmap, an initial discussion on the student's progress in between sessions, a reinforcement of previously learned foundations followed by an introduction to new material all the while keeping things dynamic and easy to understand.
From there, I'll give feedback and discuss the next steps ahead.
I am comfortable teaching children mathematics from middle school to high school level in the english, french or spanish language.
