I start with three simple questions to see where confusion hides. A typical 60-minute meeting includes a quick facts drill, new idea with visuals, tandem solving, independent try with me watching, and two practice items. My method is finding the exact moment a learner gets lost. My support fits fifth through tenth graders and adults needing basic refreshers.
