My name is Zari. I'm a 3rd undergraduate student at Dublin City University majoring in Biotechnology. I will teach Leaving Cert Maths to provide confidence in problem solving.

About Zari
I'm Zari and I'm an undergraduate student at Dublin City University, and I study Biotechnology.
As a past Leaving Cert student who has experienced how COVID affected secondary school education, I am here to increase confidence in how to study maths.
I never considered myself naturally gifted in this subject, but I've still gotten an 87% / H2 in my leaving cert, a 1.1 in Calculus in first year of DCU, and a 1.1 in Statistics in my second year of DCU because of discipline and hard work.
If you are here reading this, that means that before you clicked into this, you have acknowledged your dissatisfaction in maths which is the first step into improvement, and you should already be proud of yourself for acknowledging that.
Be open to education, don't be intimidated by it. There isn't a limitation to improvement and there isn't a limit to success.

Before our session, you can contact me the topic or the precise question you're having trouble with at my personal email. Contacting me before the lesson helps us to focus more on where you are lacking without wasting time and it gives me time to plan how to share my knowledge in the best way possible. During the lesson, I will be sending you the relevant notes and questions to help you increase your skills and confidence.
Weekend lessons last an hour, but I'm flexible with my schedule, so if that doesn't work for you, we can reschedule if required.
After every class, if you still don't understand the material, I'll send you helpful videos and additional notes via email or phone.
I will be covering algebra, calculus, trigonometry and co-ordinate geometry (the circle and the line).
The courses will be delivered online through gmail, zoom, or a facetime call; just let me know which option works best for you.
