About Tonalli
Hi, I'm Tonalli!
I am an international student at Long Island University Post Campus, and I would love to help you go from seeing math as a daunting challenge to a simpler, more achievable goal.
As a middle school student, I also struggled with math. It was not until late middle school, when a professor taught me a method that actually worked for me, that I finally understood the topics and got the grades I wanted.
Thanks to this, I was also able to help my classmates understand the material and improve their grades, which led me to really enjoy tutoring people to help them achieve their goals.
During my tutoring with you, I will always do my very best to help you move towards your goals while also helping you achieve better grades on assignments and tests.

In my lessons, we will mainly use guided learning, through which I will help you break down problems and understand the formulas we use so you can fully understand the topics.
During the lesson, I will introduce the material with an initial explanation, then guide students through practice problems, and conclude with some independent work. Homework is optional but encouraged.
As your tutor, I will always make sure you fully grasp the content we are covering before we move to the next one. Furthermore, if any explanation is unclear, I will rephrase it until it is easier to comprehend. If any questions come up during the lesson, you can always stop me and ask, and I will answer right away.
I am the right tutor for you if you need help in elementary to high school topics, but especially if you need help in:
