About Mia
As a Wellesley College student, I consider myself a very professional person without sacrificing my friendliness or patience as a tutor. As a neuroscience major at Wellesley College, I am very familiar with both basic and advanced STEM topics. I am also fluent in Spanish and love speaking it at all levels. I believe everyone has a unique learning style and can adapt my teaching style to best suit every individual. My highest priority is to help my students advance and enjoy their learning experience.

My typical approach as a tutor is to help students with their math homework, explain confusing concepts in different ways from their teachers, and provide related practice problems to master the topics in question. I think the best way to enhance learning is to review one's mistakes and rework difficult problems. I am a kind, patient, and creative person, all of which are qualities that I will translate into my position as a tutor.
