About Elsie
I am a high school student wanting to help younger kids struggling with math. I struggled as a kid with math, so I want to help kids that struggle with math, just as I did. And help they get to why they want to be.

My teaching method is called the tutorial method, where in addition to books and lectures, I use real life examples, so the student can relate to the problem more. I find that being flexible and patient, is a more approachable way of learning for younger kids. And structure doesn’t work as well. Kids minds need room to expand and grow to allow room for creativity and structure just restricts their room for creativity.
