About Ariel
I am a 17 year old full time student who is looking to earn some pocket money through a part time job. I chose to tutor because I have always excelled in mathematics and have experience handling children. Plus, I am a very patient person who believes that teaching is not just transferring knowledge but also helping to nurture students to their fullest potential. As a youth, I understand the struggles of studying and so I hope to be able to use my strengths to help others enjoy learning/the subject as much as I do! :)

Teaching approach:
- Will need to take a look at previous years test/exam papers to gauge learning speed
- Solidify foundation first if needed (recommend to start at least 1 month before school starts to avoid falling behind in class)
- Beginning with topic based learning according to school syllabus
- If any tests/exams taken in that year, will focus on weaker links (eg. topic, question types, concepts etc.) before continuing with other topics
- Exam preparation will include brief reinforcement of strong points and more practice of weak points (emphasis on scoring in questions they’re confident in then wasting time on questions they are unsure of)
- Homework will be at least 5-10 questions per week
