About William
Hello! I am a recent Maths graduate from Oxford University (with First Class Honours), and am now working towards a Maths PhD, also at Oxford. I am offering tuition in Mathematics from GCSE up to degree level (particularly Applied Mathematics and Maths for other science degrees), as well as in A Level Physics, both in the Berkhamsted area and online via Skype. In particular, having taken the MAT myself and also having an extensive understanding of Oxford Mathematics, I am looking to pass on my experience to prospective MAT applicants. I have previous experience of tutoring an IB student undertaking a mathematical extended essay. As well as helping students through whatever qualifications they are working towards, I hope I can also pass on my enthusiasm for problem solving and Mathematics in general. William is one of the finest Mathematicians of his generation. His ability is built upon a deep understanding of the foundations of Mathematics. He can effectively communicate concepts and methodology, and has helped me develop my own abilities in areas where university lecturers were unable to do so.
He is a very intelligent student who I went to when I had difficulty with a subject. He always managed to break it down to easy to follow steps and lots of examples.
