About Tom
I'm an Oxford undergraduate currently studying PPE and I took mathematics at both GCSE and A-level. I want to tutor mathematics as I know it's a difficult course that benefits from one-to-one interactions. Large class sizes don't allow for full engagement with every student, meaning not all students reach their full potential.

My tutoring techniques involve using a mixture of worked examples, past papers, and discussion, so as to ensure a strong theoretical grounding as well as practical mathematical skills. These lessons would be an hour long, built around different key topics in each lesson. I have extensive experience in teaching secondary school children, having run educational clubs during my time in sixth form. From that experience, I've developed the skill to tailor lessons both for those struggling to pass and for those looking to get the highest grades possible.
