About Jacob
I'm someone who wants to teach individuals, not lessons. I try and tailor every lesson to the individual student so they can master the skills needed to succeed. It takes more effort but the results are worth it. I have a wide range of hobbies and enjoy learning more. This is how I want to communicate to students about math and the world around them.

I enjoy integrating personal interests into my lessons. Math is everywhere and most students just need to see how it is useful for them. From running a business, cooking, to video games, there is always some way to add in your real world to the lessons. It takes more effort but you will see more results if you're engaged with what you are learning. And seeing a student grow is what teaching and tutoring is about! I mainly focus on middle school and high school mathematics, building strong foundations to help people move through life.
