About Serita

I am a passionate and dedicated Afrikaans Foundation Phase teacher with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and an Honours Degree in Education. I teach Mathematics, Home Language, First Additional Language and Life Skills, and I have a strong passion for working with young learners during these important formative years.
My teaching style is learner-centred, creative and interactive. I believe that children learn best when they are actively involved, encouraged to explore and given opportunities to learn through practical experiences. I strive to create a positive, welcoming and engaging environment where every learner feels safe, valued, supported and motivated to participate.

About the lesson

I aim to make learning meaningful, practical and enjoyable by adapting my teaching to accommodate different learning needs and abilities. I am committed to helping every learner build confidence, develop a love for learning and reach their full potential. I believe that my passion, creativity, patience and dedication make me a caring and effective Foundation Phase teacher. I teach in Afrikaans and my lessons are aimed for learners age 6-9.
