As a tutor, my approach is student-centered and focused on making mathematics clear, relatable, and engaging. I believe every student learns differently, so I take the time to understand their individual learning style, strengths, and areas that need improvement. I use real-life examples, visual explanations, and step-by-step problem-solving techniques to break down complex topics into understandable parts. Whether it's algebra, calculus, or statistics, integration. I aim to build a strong foundation and boost the student’s confidence in their ability to tackle math problems independently. A typical lesson starts with a quick review of previously covered material to ensure retention. Then we move on to new topics, which I introduce through simple explanations followed by guided practice. I encourage students to ask questions freely, and I adapt the pace of the lesson to match their understanding. Each session ends with practice problems and quick feedback to reinforce learning. I also provide follow-up materials or exercises when needed to help with revision and long-term retention. What sets me apart as a tutor is my patience, adaptability, and genuine passion for teaching. As an undergraduate student in Computer Science at Uva Wellassa University of Sri Lanka, I combine academic knowledge with a relatable, student-friendly approach.
