About Maysn
I am a friendly, patient and reliable Math tutor with over three years of tutoring experience working with both primary and high school students. I have worked as a self-employed tutor as well as through Art of Smart, providing personalized support based on each student's individual needs and learning style.
I completed high school in 2021, have completed a diploma and am currently studying a Bachelor's degree. I am passionate about helping primary school students develop their Math skills and, most importantly, feel more confident in their abilities.
I aim to create a comfortable and supportive learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and making mistakes. I understand that Math can be challenging for some students, so I am patient and take the time to explain concepts clearly without making students feel rushed or judged.
Whether your child needs help catching up, completing homework, preparing for an assessment or simply building their confidence in Math, I will work with them at their own pace and tailor lessons to their individual goals.

I take a patient, personalized and encouraging approach to Math tutoring. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adjust my lessons to suit their individual needs, confidence and learning style.
I like to break Math problems down into simple, manageable steps and use worked examples, visual explanations and practice questions to help students understand how and why something works. I encourage students to have a go themselves and ask questions, while providing support when they get stuck.
Lessons are generally 60 minutes, but I can adjust the length depending on the student's age, attention span and needs.
I have over three years of tutoring experience, working with both primary and high school students as a self-employed tutor and through Art of Smart. I completed high school in 2021, have completed a diploma and am currently studying a Bachelor's degree.
My Math lessons are for Prep–Year 6 students and are suitable for students who need extra support, want to improve their confidence, need help with homework or want to get ahead with their schoolwork. Lessons are available online or in Melbourne.
