About Chris
I studied Electrical Engineering at Northeastern University before discovering my love of Physics. After transferring to City College of New York, I earned a Bachelor's degree in Physics, with a focus on Physics Education. I have close to a decade of experience tutoring hundreds of High School and College students in a wide variety of subjects in Math and Physics.

My approach to tutoring varies widely depending on the student but I am extremely patient and always take the time to really make sure you understand something. In Physics, my main focus is on getting students to see that most of the problems they encounter can be solved through a very small handful of general principles. Rather than memorize a bunch of equations, we focus on starting from the general principles when first solving problems. Although this may not be the most efficient method in the long run it allows for a deeper understanding. Once a deeper understanding is obtained, we can then begin to use 'shortcuts' and 'hacks' to be more efficient problem solvers.
