About Awele
Hi! My name is Awele, and I am a medical student with a strong academic background in mathematics, science, and problem-solving. Throughout my education, I have learned that success in math is not about being naturally gifted—it's about understanding the concepts, developing effective strategies, and building confidence through practice.
My goal as a tutor is to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I believe that every student can improve in mathematics when concepts are explained clearly and at the right pace. I focus on helping students understand the "why" behind each step rather than simply memorizing procedures, which leads to stronger long-term results.
I tailor each lesson to the student's individual needs, whether they are struggling with foundational algebra concepts, preparing for an upcoming test, or looking to improve their grades overall. Lessons are structured, interactive, and designed to build both understanding and confidence.

I'm a medical student who understands that every student learns differently, so my approach focuses on adapting explanations to the individual's learning style and current level of understanding. Rather than simply showing how to solve a problem, I break concepts down into smaller, manageable steps and help students understand the reasoning behind each step. My goal is to build confidence and create a strong foundation that allows students to solve problems independently.
A typical lesson begins with identifying areas the student finds challenging. I then explain the relevant concepts using clear examples before working through practice questions together. As the student becomes more comfortable, I gradually encourage them to solve problems on their own while providing guidance and feedback. I also use repetition, active recall, and real-world examples where appropriate to reinforce understanding.
What sets me apart is my patience, ability to simplify complex ideas, and strong academic background in science and problem-solving. As a medical student, I have developed effective study techniques and understand the challenges of learning difficult material. I focus not only on improving grades but also on helping students develop confidence and critical thinking skills.
