About Joe
Hi, I’m Joe, a guitarist and recording musician with over 15 years of experience. I developed my skills through a largely self-directed learning process, focusing on practical application, musical curiosity, and material that kept me inspired to keep playing. After briefly studying through traditional lessons, I chose a more flexible, goal-driven approach that better supported my growth as a musician. I’ve performed in multiple bands and maintain several ongoing projects spanning a variety of genres. For the past two years, I’ve been recording and releasing original music from my home studio, continually refining both my musical voice and technical skillset.

If you want to stop memorizing patterns and start actually making music, let’s talk. I offer guitar lessons built around playing, not checklists. I don’t believe in forcing students to grind scales or memorize the fretboard before they can enjoy the instrument. Being bored and seeing no results is the fastest way to quit. Instead, I work with each student to focus on their short-term goals as a guitarist, introducing theory and technique only when it becomes useful and relevant. My approach is ear-focused and musical: learning to hear what sounds good, why it works, and how to use it in your own playing.

Joe has a unique and effective perspective on guitar lessons. From the proper way to hold a guitar, to effective cording, through playing full and popular music, his patience and and knowledge are a good match for both young children and adult players. His approach works with all levels. I recommend Joe for everything but especially young children just starting to play.
Joe has a different approach to lessons that is unusually helpful for those who want to play actual music quickly or those who already have the basics and need to progress faster. Lessons range from learning how to hold and handle a guitar, to learning basic chords, to learning to play your favorite songs. He is especially effective with younger children, being patient and able to explain in a way they understand. I highly recommend Joe for all guitar lessons!
Joe is super patient and willing to go over any step in the learning process as many times necessary. His love for guitar truly shows through his commitment and patience.
Solid guy very patient and understanding. Really good at tuning guitar by ear. 10/10
