About Sufia
Hi, this is Sufia, a final year PhD student in Mechanical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. My PhD is centred somewhere between Mechanical engineering and applied mathematics. I graduated with First-class in bachelor and masters from Aligarh Muslim University. I love learning and sharing what I know, and it has always given me tremendous pleasure to see pupils gain confidence in the topic via my enthusiasm and expertise.
For almost ten years, I have been a tutor. I have experience teaching students of all ages and skill levels, from those in the early grades all the way up to university students, both in-person and online. One of my favourite experiences as a tutor was being able to inspire my pupils to enjoy the topic as they gained confidence in it, in addition to helping them succeed in their exams.
I am a very engaging and motivated tutor committed to ensuring that you or your child gets the best instruction possible in this subject. To reach your maximum potential, I deliberately address your flaws and turn them into your strengths.

In our initial conversation, I want to learn about your capabilities, the skills and areas you want to develop, as well as the time period and objectives you have in mind. Or, if you'd like, I can quiz you on a variety of subjects to determine which areas you need more help in. I can work any time that fits your schedule. I will keep the class engaging by providing pertinent examples and stimulating conversation.
By giving periodical tests, we will monitor our development. When you feel more assured, you would then proceed to answer an exam question on the subject. Each tutorial will also include review sessions during which I will quiz the students on the material we previously covered. After all, practice is the key to learning anything. We get better at what we do as we practise more.
In order to encourage students to be more inquisitive and interested in their studies, my personal teaching approach focuses on interacting with students throughout the lesson through dialogue and questions. My top objective is to make you feel at ease asking any question, no matter how basic, just to ensure you fully understand what is being taught or reviewed.
