About Isaac
I am in my last year of university at UT Austin, studying Physics and Mechanical Engineering; it's fair to say I have quite a bit of math and physics skills under my belt! I am entering my 2nd year of tutoring physics, from introductory mechanics and electricity & magnetism to waves & optics. My students appreciate my ability to communicate the concepts taught in their classes from the perspective of a recent student: I can identify the common misunderstandings that many teachers/professors look over.

My tutoring sessions typically consist of working through class material that has not been understood or needs clarification. Once we have learned a certain concept, we work through practice problems or homework to see how to implement formulas and physics principles correctly. I teach problem solving methods for how to identify the goal of the question and how to use the given information to find a quick path to the solution.
