About Reza
I am a theoretical physicist, and my research is focused on the nature of dark matter. I have received my PhD in particle physics from University of California, Riverside (UCR). I have 5 years of experience teaching students from Math/Physics/Engineering majors at UCR. I have received the "Outstanding Teaching Assistant" award from the physics department at UCR for helping students understand physics. Some of my students changed their major to physics after taking my classes. I'm glad to see that they are now graduate students at some of the best universities. I have also taught Chemistry to high school students for 3 months.

I have a PhD in physics, and I teach physics & math at high school & college levels. My teaching philosophy is that every student can understand and learn math & physics, if they can see the path from basic concepts to the more "complicated" ones. I try to teach the students how to think analytically, and make a step-by-step progress towards understanding the seemingly difficult subjects.
I plan the lesson structure after understanding the students' goals, their background and weaknesses. At this stage the starting point and the destination are set, and I start guiding the student on the simplest path. I will adjust the pace according to the feedback I receive from the students. Once the analytical skills of students improves, they can become more confident and independent in learning any subject which is my final goal in teaching. The only requirement that I ask from my students is that they should be curious and patient.
