About Omar

Hi, I’m a Biology Pre-Med major at Kent State University with a strong academic background in mathematics. I earned A* grades in both Mathematics and Additional Mathematics in the IGCSE curriculum, and I now apply that same discipline and clarity to teaching subjects like Algebra, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus. My goal is to make complex topics understandable and to help students build real confidence in their problem-solving skills. I take a structured, patient approach and tailor each session to the student's pace and goals. Whether you’re catching up or aiming for top grades, I’m committed to providing clear explanations, consistent support, and a professional tutoring experience that gets results.

About the lesson

As a Biology Pre-Med student at Kent State with a strong foundation in Maths, I approach tutoring with clarity, patience, and structure. I focus on breaking down complex topics, such as trigonometric identities or calculus concepts, into manageable, step-by-step explanations tailored to each student’s learning style. A typical lesson begins with a brief review of key concepts, followed by guided problem-solving, targeted feedback, and reinforcement of core strategies. I specialise in helping high school and freshmen students in Algebra, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus develop a deep understanding and long-term confidence. What sets me apart is my ability to relate abstract Maths to logical, real-world thinking, and my calm, focused teaching style that supports both struggling learners and high achievers.
