About Tesfaye
I am highly motivated result driven individual, who likes to work with the children or adults, regardless which level they are or what their skills and abilities are. I love Maths and Statistics and am passionate about inspiring young people to recognise and reach their true potential.
I hold a Doctorate Degree in Environmental Engineering (River Science) from Queen Mary University of London. I graduated with an MSc degree with distinction from Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich. I have a solid knowledge of Mathematics, Statistics and computer programming. I have gained solid knowledge of geographic information system and Remote Sensing through my MSc degree.I have paractical skills in ArcGIS, MATLAB programming and MicroSoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
I have more than 3-years of experience teaching undergraduate students at a university level. I delivered degree level courses such as Engineering Surveying, Numerical Hydraulics and Engineering Hydraulics which involve advanced skills of Mathematics.
I am really eager to tutor GCSE and primary maths. I also have interest for tutoring Statistics, Excel, ArcGIS and MATLAB programming .
To see students progressing is a big satisfaction and pride for me. I am very happy to transfer my skills and help people grow in their studies beyond exam.
I look forward to meeting you and your child and to seeing your child progress academically in maths.
I am willing to tutor homes within a 40 min commute (on public transportation) of my home.
