About Nived
I currently work as a software developer in the environmental services sector putting my skills at best use to support the world achieve international climate targets. I have a master's degree in computational applied mathematics from the University of Edinburgh and a bachelor's degree in mathematics, physics and chemistry from Christ University, Bangalore, making me ideal for tutoring these subjects. I am an award-winning student-teacher of mathematics at the high school and university levels. I have been tutoring my juniors and peers since undergrads with support from the Department of Mathematics of my university. Besides, I have experience organising summer classes and seminars for secondary and high school students with the objective of making mathematics education simple and enjoyable.

I am a scientifically trained applied mathematician with experience developing mathematical and statistical tools for the easy analysis of image data to support the world's attempt to mitigate climate change. This makes me an excellent visualiser of the complex mathematics and physics using technology or otherwise. I am well versed with programming languages like Python with demonstrable experience developing software which can be used to the advantage of making my science lessons very visual! I give equal importance to building a strong foundation of mathematics and developing great problem-solving skills. My attempt will always be to inspire students to look at the world through the kaleidoscope of mathematics.
