About RAIHANA
I understand how challenging Mathematics can feel — I struggled with it in primary school and used to dislike the subject the most. With the right guidance and teaching approach, it eventually became my strongest subject from secondary school onward and played a key role in getting me into Aerospace Engineering. This experience shapes how I teach today. I focus on building confidence, strong foundations, and making Math engaging and easy to understand, especially for lower primary students. Lessons are structured, patient, and supportive, allowing students to learn at their own pace in a professional and encouraging environment.

My approach to tutoring focuses on making Mathematics simple, engaging, and enjoyable, especially for lower primary students. I believe young learners understand best when concepts are broken down into clear, bite-sized steps and taught using visuals, real-life examples, and interactive activities.
I use techniques such as:
Visual learning (drawings, diagrams, number lines, and simple models)
Hands-on practice using examples children can relate to (toys, food, daily situations)
Step-by-step guidance to build confidence before moving to harder questions
Positive reinforcement to encourage participation and reduce fear of Maths
Question-based learning, where I guide students to think rather than just give answers
For lower primary students, I focus strongly on building foundations and ensuring they truly understand the “why” behind each concept instead of memorising methods.
