About Sabawoon
I have tutored Functional skills, Key stages, GCSE, AS Level. I work on the basis that student difficulties usually arise from an insufficiently rich understanding of 'easy' topics. By investing time to revisit some of these easier areas and studying them in a more thorough and enriching way, students can subsequently make rapid progress whilst gaining an appreciation and enjoyment of their studies. My teaching style is calm and informal. Although class discipline is always maintained I strive to make learning a fun process. Teaching to the test is not my approach. I focus on students gaining a sound understanding of the subject. Further, I have worked with adult learners, students with special needs i.e. ADHD, Autism, Down Syndrome. Qualified Mathematics teacher based in London. I aspire to make my lessons fun, interesting and engaging. It is a 2 way process. I want to learn more about my students so I can build solid relationships with them. Lessons are conducted online using either Zoom (preferred) or Skype. GCSE and A Level lessons follow the syllabus of each individual student. KS2 and KS3 students preparing for school entrance exams.

My nephew was really struggling with maths and could not understand the method the teacher was teaching at school. He was lazy and dis-interested in learning. I decided to find a tutor as he was not going to pass his GCSE's at this rate. Thank God for Sabawoon who completely changed Ibraheems work ethic and knowledge by using visuals and interactive methods to teach the content for his GCSE exams. He has taught him in a way which has Ibraheem looking forward to his sessions and gauge an interest and understanding to his work. I was really impressed with the work Sabawoon has put in to be unique and creative in his teaching methods. He is very patient and understanding in his teaching. I would highly recommend Sabawoon as a tutor.
