About Tamara
Throughout my whole life, I was always more interested in my STEM classes than I was in my humanities classes. I noticed that many of my peers in my Chemistry and Geometry classeswould ask me questions about problems they weren't sure about, and instead ofjust giving them the answer, we would solve it as a team, making sure to learn something on the way. I guess I could say that where I found my passion for helping others learn. I can offer a fun learning environment, and I can guarantee that I will be judge-free as everyone has to start from a certain point before they can grow.

I love testing level and working on practice problems as a way to learn more. My lessons will mainly consist of learning all the different components of either subject (Geometry or Chemistry), and testing areas of difficulty using practice problems from tests. As a student who has lived through these subjects, I can offer a welcoming and judge-free tutoring environment for incoming freshmen (class of 2026) and younger. Classes will preferably be with students residing in New York City, NY. I can tutor on weekends from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. EST. Times and days will be negotiable during breaks, and students will not be tutored on holidays celebrated by the student or the tutor (a heads up will be given).
