About Leo
In addition to my education and work placement, I am a reasonably active individual who enjoys playing football, padel and running and have learnt from being consistent and disciplined in my training and hope to pass that onto my tutoring style. I am very patient and approachable and, having been through GCSEs and A-Levels not too long ago, know what works rather than just adding additional stress. I am reliable and organised and will make sure to prepare properly before lessons to maximise our time.

My main concern is with ensuring that it all makes sense, rather than relying on anything memorised – if you understand the logic behind something, it helps a great deal in the exams. I move according to your pace, explain the topic in a variety of ways if necessary, and check that you have understood the material before moving further.
When it comes to PE and Sport Science, I am currently learning the course at degree level and I am thus able to apply practical examples into lessons. When it comes to Maths and Stats, I am currently on the placement in data analysis and project operations in Loughborough Sport, therefore using practical and realistic examples of statistics application.
A lesson usually lasts for an hour, but I can adapt the length of the lesson depending on your needs.
I achieved a 9 in GCSE Maths, 9 in GCSE PE, B at A-Level in Maths, and D* in BTEC Sport Science, currently I am studying a degree in Sport Science at Loughborough. The current placement combines both subjects and helped me to learn practical applications of maths and science.
Lessons are directed at KS3 and GCSE students in Maths, Stats, PE and Sport Science – be it revision for the exam, coursework or general understanding of the topic.
