About Alex
I am a dedicated and experienced tutor with a very strong academic background with AP and college-level mathematics coursework. I believe that every student can succeed, as I struggled in my past thinking I cannot succeed, but just needed a boost of confidence with tutoring. I am fully committed to my structured lessons to help students cover topics with patient explanations and working up in difficulty to master them!

My methods aim to build strong foundational understanding through clear explanations by using step-by-step problem solving and active engagement. Visual aids and working up in difficulty have been my favorite way to teach.
After struggling with being tutored before, I use different approaches to adapt to each student with unique methods on different material.
My lessons are for middle school and high school students who feel like they could use a boost in any math related subject. My specialties include:
