About Matthew
I am a guitarist who has been playing for about three and a half years. I am currently pursuing a music degree at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, with guitar as my chosen instrument. I have been in a few bands, have written some of my own unreleased music, and have played a number of shows.

My teaching approach is one of patience and kindness. I do not mind going over the same subject multiple times if that is what the student needs. I am a firm believer in “there are no stupid questions.” I intend to teach a mix of theory and technique. I believe a balance of both is essential for great guitar playing. I intend to give lessons to beginners. I want to teach student what they want to learn, as well.
