About Mia
Hi, I’m Mia, and I’m passionate about helping students unlock their potential and achieve their goals. I’ve been teaching in a Further Education college for five years, specialising in Sport Coaching and Development, Sport and Exercise Science, Uniformed Protective Services, as well as specifically teaching Psychology and Government units for the past four years. I hold a BA (Hons) in Sport Studies and an FAQ Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training. I aim to make learning interactive and engaging, using technology like Nearpod to bring lessons to life. Whether supporting students to achieve Distinctions in coursework or preparing for challenging exams, I provide guidance, support, and challenge to help learners reach their full potential. My lessons combine practical experience, clear explanations, and real-world examples, ensuring content is relevant and exciting. I create a supportive environment where students feel confident to ask questions, explore ideas, and grow.
