About Dr H
Dr. H Somashekar, B.Tech., M.Tech., Ph.D., has been an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, at Visvesvaraya College of Engineering and Technology since August 2015. He earned his B.Tech. in Electronics & Communication Engineering from PRRMEC (JNTUH University, Hyderabad) in 2010, and his M.Tech. in VLSI System Design from Aurora’s Engineering College, Bhuvanagiri (JNTUH University, Hyderabad) in 2012. He completed his Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering under Saveetha University in 2024. With 11 years of teaching and 2 years of industry experience, he has guided numerous B.Tech. and M.Tech. Projects. He has actively participated in various national and international conferences, workshops, and faculty development programs, He has published 2 research papers in international and national journals, He has completed 4 online courses through NPTEL receiving the NPTEL Certificates. He is a Fellow of lifetime member of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE). His research interests include Communication, 5G, 6G Technology, IoT, Electromagnetic fields, Medical Image Processing and Health Care.
