About Victor

Hi, I'm Victor! I hold a Bachelor of Computer Science (Software Engineering major, WAM 76.75) from La Trobe University and am currently completing a Master of Teaching (Secondary) at Southern Cross University in Perth. Before university, I completed the Mathematics-specialist stream at HUS High School for Gifted Students (GPA 9.4/10).

Over the past three years, I have tutored more than 10 students one-to-one online and in small groups, and I have scripted and recorded 65 secondary Mathematics teaching videos covering Years 7 to 10 algebra, geometry, statistics, and problem-solving. I hold a current WA Working with Children Check, a WA Police National Police Certificate, and HLTAID012 First Aid and CPR.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed for high school students in Years 7 to 10 who want to build real confidence in Mathematics, NAPLAN Numeracy, and introductory Coding or Digital Technologies.

Each 60-minute lesson follows a clear, low-stress structure:
1. Quick diagnostic check: We look at your current school topic, homework, or recent test paper to find the exact step where your work gets stuck.
2. Step-by-step worked examples: Using a shared digital whiteboard, I model one problem clearly, then solve the next one together with you so you understand why the method works rather than just memorising formulas.
3. Guided and independent practice: You work through exam-style questions while I give immediate, specific feedback and help you build a short checklist to avoid common calculation or sign mistakes.
