I tutored math and reading at Kumon 3 times a week, with well over 80 kids a day from grades pre-school to 12, content which includes college-level calculus.

About Kim
I am currently studying computer science, prior to that I have studied calculus, chemistry, and a little dabble on physics. I don't like long explanations, and as such I don't spend much time explaining. With that being said, I can hold a conversation with students of all ages!

My lesson goes by the following steps:
1. Terms/Definitions
2. Concept/teaching how to solve a problem
3. Giving problem examples
4. Guiding students to try examples.
5. Drill homework.
As for my style, I'm not very wordy, as I believe examples and visuals explain more efficiently and effectively for most students. Consistent questions are welcomed, they get answered by different approaches because everyone is different.
