About John
My name is John, I am in my 3rd year of studying statistics in UCD and currently working as a data analyst intern at EirGrid as part of my degree. I have always had a passion for math and science and now I have the skills and desire to teach them! For my leaving cert I sat Math, Applied Math, Physics, Biology and Chemistry (achieving H1, H1, H1, H1, H3 respectively). I really enjoyed studying the sciences and still do. I plan to help you do the same.

My approach is not only based on what worked well for me as a student during my leaving cert and now in university, but also what I wish I did looking back. The kind of study I wish could have been shown to me. This boils down to:
- Focusing on the exam paper questions and understanding the marking scheme so to optimise study efforts.
- Understanding the concepts underlying the methods to answering questions so you can apply them to whatever appears in the exam.
- Creating an organised and well structured study framework which suits you and progresses in relation to the exam timeline.
