About Neill
I am currently studying maths at university, and want to teach so I can share the passion I have for my field, and help others where I have struggled in the past. When I was at school I was surrounded by people who did not enjoy maths because they couldn’t get over the initial hurdles of abstract ideas and unfamiliar language. This desire to open up the world of maths is what I am most motivated by.

My approach to tutoring centres on capturing the interest and curiosity of students, and carefully cultivating this. I want to focus on what engages my students, so that they are driven by a desire to find out more. Their questions are invaluable, as they show the areas where their curiosity may be budding, and I hope to create a learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, even when they seem trivial.
