About Matthew
I am a student at the University of Manchester and am looking for the opportunity to develop my teaching experience. I have always enjoyed teaching and often used it as a motivation for my own learning.
I taught lessons of GCSE Further Maths during my A levels and have experience mentoring through being a Young Leader at Scouts. I know how to write in a way that explains concepts well and my revision notes were often shared with fellow classmates.
I have A*AAB in A level Maths, Physics, Psychology and Further Maths, with A in AS Chemistry. I have 10 GCSEs with grade 9 in Maths, Physics, Computer Science and Chemistry.
I am willing to offer tutoring at a lower cost than many others at £7 an hour initially, with a free 30 minute first lesson.

In my experience, I have found the most effective way of learning to be through visualisation and understanding. I have developed my teaching style to facilitate this.
My lessons are between 30 minutes and 2 hours, in which I will go through study notes, knowledge testing questions and past paper questions.
I tutor A level Psychology, having received grade A. I have relevant skills to tutor GSCE Psychology but didn't sit the course myself.
I offer online lessons evenings Monday and Friday or midday at the weekend. Other times may be possible if arranged in advance.
