About Esther
I am a student at the University of Nottingham, currently pursuing a degree in Politics and American Studies. I also attended Westcliff High School for Girls, the leading girls grammar school in the county. It was here that I found success in my GCSEs, where I received 5 A's and 3A*s and even further success in my A-Levels, where I received an A in my chosen course of study at university. As a result of this I feel inspired to aide others in also reaching their full potential.
Having taken the 11+ myself, I understand that it is a challenge for students at such a young age. However, I believe that with an encouraging support system behind a student they will be able to develop the necessary endurance and dedication needed to succeed in their 11+, as well as their GCSEs and A-Levels.
I have a considerable amount of experience tutoring students one on one across a range of subjects. This has led me to adapt my teaching technique and treat each student as an individual. This particularly involves understanding the strengths and weaknesses of each student as well as their needs. I will also focus on monitoring the progress of each student and feeding back to you the contents of our sessions.
