About
I’m a student who actually cares about providing a quality of teaching that will actually benefit you, whether it be telling you the harsh truth or working with for what best works for you in terms of helping you understand.
I’m quite a knowledgeable person once titled “fountain of knowledge” by my A-level tutor (shoutout to Mrs Palacios) but I understand scientific concepts so well that out of boredom during my gap year I made a challenge with myself to revive my YouTube channel that I had made years before and make 1 video A day on average for however long it takes to complete the entire syllabus of both AQA A/S and A-level chemistry with specialist videos based on answering end of unit mocks and full chemistry papers.
But most importantly I think it’s so important to educate rather than teach and what I mean by this is for years I’d be so close to understanding a topic without realising simply because some teachers I had growing up would use specialist language about vey basic topics without explaining them making them hard to follow. After taking this into consideration, I’ve made it my goal to create an open environment where’s it’s safe to speak in plain basic (Layman’s) english just to understand a topic as it will be easier to follow and understand moving forward, making you feel there’s value out of your lessons and eager to want to learn which is the point of education.
I was part of the COVID year where we didn’t sit exams and we were given our CCGs I initially got A*AB and I decided to actually sit the exam for biology and chemistry. I say this to make you feel confident that I’ve been through what you’ve been through or worse and got to where I needed to be.
