About Aly
I have been a professional educator for eight years. I have taught middle school science and have served as a virtual learning curriculum director. I have my Master of Science in Education from Johns Hopkins University, and completed my undergraduate Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from George Washington University. I am also a Teach For America alumni and have presented at conferences on topics related to standards and mastery-based learning, and developmentally appropriate classroom management. I have served as an evaluator on Florida state level accreditation teams, and designed curriculum for Miami-Dade County Public Schools. I am passionate about education equity, and believe that every student can learn.
