About Khathutshelo
Currently enrolled as a student at the university of the Witwatersrand, doing 2nd year Chemical Engineering. Tutor on the Sizanani Program in collaboration with St. Mary's. Completed Matric in 2018. Been offering free Maths and Science classes at my previous High School for grade 11s and 12s.

I believe problem solving, particularly in mathematics (and physical science also), is very simple once learners understand the concept behind the content they must know to solve that problem. At times I would ask the learner to explain the concept the way they understand it and I'd address any misconceptions they might have. Nonetheless, most of the times I clear misconceptions and enhance their understanding by doing practical exam questions. I also teach them multiple ways of approaching a problem and let them choose the most convenient for themselves. I also do constant assessments, like tests, to check if they are understanding.
