About Magnus
With over 15 years of experience teaching elementary math, I focus on helping students truly understand math, not just memorize steps. I am patient, calm, and committed to making learning less stressful and more enjoyable. I explain concepts in simple, clear steps and use practical examples that make math easier to relate to.
Every student learns differently, so I adjust my teaching style to match their needs and build their confidence gradually. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and are not afraid of making mistakes. Over time, I help them become more independent and confident in solving math problems on their own.

My teaching approach focuses on making math simple, structured, and confidence-building for young learners. I break concepts into small, clear steps and use visual models, real-life examples, repetition, and guided practice to ensure understanding. I also adjust my explanations based on each student’s learning pace and preferred style.
A typical lesson begins with a quick review of prior knowledge, followed by introducing a new concept in a simple, visual way. We then work through examples together, move into guided practice, and finish with independent practice and a short recap to reinforce learning.
What sets me apart is my ability to identify learning gaps quickly and adapt my explanations until the student truly understands, not just memorizes. I focus on patience, clarity, and building long-term confidence in math.
My lessons are designed for elementary and lower middle school students, including those who need extra support in understanding foundational math concepts or who benefit from step-by-step, highly structured instruction.
