About CJ
I am a chemical engineering graduate of Drexel University , Class of 2013. Since graduation , I spent about a year completing a voluntary service program that involved teaching kids at middle school. I am currently an asset integrity analyst at PinnacleART in Pasadena TX. I am a huge huge math lover. I also thoroughly enjoyed periodic tables, solving equations and reading essays. My experiences with schooling in Nigeria have taught me just how important a teacher's attitude is on the student's success, that is just half of the goal. Let's work together to achieve the other half as well. Outside of work , I like to combine weight training and soccer to keep a lean functional physique.

My teaching methods differ on the age group. For younger students, (ages 9-12), it's important to keep them engaged since the attention span can drift any moment. Keep the teaching fun and reward them with words of encouragement and high fives. For teenagers and college kids , the stress of homework and exams tend to have a big impact on their career path . And a lot of times you find that the student isn't mastering the curriculum due to the class teacher's methods. So it's important to establish a good relationship with them first of all, and develop notes and examples based on the student's adaptability.
